Huayi – Festival of Arts
Launched in 2003 during the Chinese New Year, Huayi is one of Singapore’s most warmly embraced arts festivals. Spread over two weekends, it provides a platform for outstanding Chinese artists across all genres to present their works to international audiences in Singapore. Programmes at this cultural festival include various art forms like theatre, dance, music, visual arts and more. Parents will love to know that this year’s Huayi has workshops and productions specially designed for young children to explore Singapore’s heritage!

Chingay Parade Singapore 2014
Feast your eyes on stunning visual spectacles of multicultural performances at the Chingay Parade 2014! This year’s theme, Colours of Fabric, One People, celebrates Singapore’s cultural diversity. The annual Chinese New Year procession will feature vibrant floats, dancing dragons, prancing lions, stilt walkers, wushu masters, performers in various traditional costumes, and many more! Keep your eyes peeled for first-time performances like 4m giant artistic puppets, Batik Art, Ge Tai (歌台), and an outdoor community drama.

Singapore Airshow 2014
Aviation enthusiasts – here’s the event you have been waiting for! Asia’s largest airshow exhibition is back to wow you with the latest state-of-the-art systems and equipment, technologies and developments. Visitors will also enjoy a wide range of exciting activities such as flying aerobatic displays by various teams, including Singapore’s very own Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) Black Knights. Safari Zoo Run Singapore
Ever tried running in an unusual place? Why not try something different this February? Back for its sixth year and jointly organized by Wildlife Reserves Singapore and Pink Apple, the Safari Zoo Run 2014 is going to be a run to remember! Besides savouring sights of wildlife exhibits along scenic paths, runners will also contribute to wildlife conservation because part of the proceeds from the run goes towards taking care of endangered animals at the Night Safari and Singapore Zoo. Terry Fox Fun 2014
This February, run for a cause and celebrate the life of an inspiring athlete turned humanitarian and cancer research activist. The Terry Fox Run is the world’s largest one-day fundraiser for cancer research. Taking place in more than 60 countries, the event has gathered millions around the world since 1981 to continue Terrance Stanley “Terry” Fox’s quest. The inspiring one-legged amputee and cancer victim ran for 143 days and 5,373 kilometres before succumbing to the disease. Lace up your running shoes and help Terry Fox continue his dream of raising money and awareness for cancer research!
