If you are looking at good clean family fun, there’s plenty to do. The Singapore Zoo is one of world’s most exciting zoos and has won a few awards. With an open concept, most of the animals are separated from visitors by wet or dry moats. Don’t forget to pop in at night for the Night Safari, an attraction that has continually topped visitors’ lists.

When it comes to tropical island fun, you will want to want to check out Sentosa. The island holds many varied attractions for the family. From historical features to underwater oceanarium displays, fun-filled beaches to interactive theatres, Sentosa is great for the kids. Just be sure that you go there by cable-car, a thrilling way to get to the island.

Another popular destination for the family is the Jurong BirdPark. One of the world’s largest birdparks, it is home to some 9,000 birds. Specialising in birds from Southeast Asia, it has four aviaries. Treat your kids to the popular daily birdshow.

Trot on down to the Singapore Science Centre for some educational yet entertaining exhibits. You don’t want to miss catching a movie at the five-storey high omni-theatre.

If you want to immerse in Chinese folklore, there’s no better place to do that than in Haw Par Villa. Bizarre and graphic scenes of torture and punishment in hell will haunt you long after you leave.

The newly-opened Singapore Flyer is not to be missed. View the city skyline from this giant observation wheel! If you are looking for more thrills, try the G-Max Reverse Bungy in Clarke Quay, a bungee jump that is guaranteed to make you scream!

Looking for some more serious play? Why not head on down to Escape Theme Park for some serious excitement? It’s the first theme park in Singapore which offers more than 15 different rides that people of all ages can enjoy. From the relaxing Ferris wheel for the young children to the adrenaline rushing Asia’s highest flume ride for the excitement seeking individuals.

The theme park is also connected to another water theme park, Wild Wild Wet where all the fun and play meets the water which is located beside Escape Theme Park. There are around 9 different kinds of rides that cater to young children to the excitement seeking individual. Once here, don’t forget to try out the park’s extreme ride ‘Slide Up’ where you will drop down a ramp about 4 stories high on a rubber float which will leave you screaming your lungs out.
