Cycling enthusiasts, gear up for Singapore’s largest mass participation cycling event because OCBC Cycle Singapore 2014 is back for its sixth edition. There’s a category that caters to every age and ability, so whether you’re a child or adult, professional or leisure cyclist, feel free to take part! If you’re not cycling, do participate as a spectator and cheer the rest on! OCBC Cycle Singapore kicks off with the Professional Criterium, which will feature more than 60 top-class cyclists from around the world, such as Great Britain’s two-time Olympic gold medallist Ed Clancy.

OCBC Cycle Singapore also believes in giving back to the local community. Besides launching the Safe Cycling Campaign on 15 February, it will be raising awareness and funds for its four official charitable organisations: Dover Park Hospice, SingHealth Transplant TrueFUND, Singapore Children’s Society and SportCares Foundation, so join in the fun and cycle for a cause!

Cycling enthusiasts are also welcome to visit the Sports & Lifestyle Expo. Spanning an entire floor of the F1 Pit Building, the exhibition will feature more than 100 booths offering exclusive deals on cycling-related products.

While you’re signing up for the race, why not help vote for your favourite Crit Girl in the OCBC Cycle Singapore 2014 Crit Girl Contest? Similar to grid girls at the Grand Prix, Crit girls will flag cyclists off at the starting point and greet them as they reach the finishing point. Voting closes on 10 March 2014, and all you need to do is to ‘like’ the photo of your favourite contestant!

Event Schedule

Kicking off on Friday evening, the OCBC Cycle Singapore will first be open to serious cyclists looking to test themselves in a short course format. Saturday will host races for younger cyclists as well as The Ultimate Foldies Challenge which unearths Singapore's fastest and best-dressed Foldies.

The much anticipated highlight of the three-day event begins on Sunday morning where more than 10,000 cyclists are expected to take part in the long distance rides along some of Singapore's iconic landmarks like Marina Bay Sands, the Singapore Flyer, Gardens by the Bay East, East Coast Park, and the Benjamin Sheares Bridge. Typically inaccessible by bicycles, this is the golden opportunity to ride safely on public roads alongside thousands of fellow avid cyclists while enjoying panoramic views of the city.
